Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. She is most famous for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Other notable roles include her title character in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was the daughter of an employee of a department store and a kindergarten instructor. The actress began her acting career as a child at the age of seven. her Aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin get a part as in the TV show Father Murphy. After her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed substantial roles, both on the small and the big screen. Martin is a professional actress and a skilled photographer and dancer, has been in the industry for the past 20 years. Being a mom to two children, she has become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. Martin has been spreading the word about the disease since her younger sister died in the age of 19.
